Here is where the figures come from.

On October 8, 2026, we opened the SMM job list on rabota.md. The list had 113 listings. The first page had listings from 38 different employers, and 15 of the listings on that page showed the salary.

For each of the 15 listings we took the middle of the salary range offered. From these 15 values we calculated the median and the two quarters. The amounts are gross and monthly.

Here is who is looking for an SMM manager right now.

On the first page of the list, the employers are furniture and sporting goods stores, a car dealer, construction companies, an air conditioning firm, software companies and a bakery, plus a recruitment agency and a marketing agency. Mostly companies with a team of their own.

Here is what these figures do not say.

  • 15 listings are a small sample: a single new listing can move the median.
  • We read only the first page of the list, not all 113 listings.
  • Many companies do not show the salary, and we do not know whether they pay more or less.
  • The salary in a listing is an offer: the amount negotiated at hiring can be different.
  • “SMM manager” means different jobs, from someone who only publishes posts to someone who also does ads and video.
  • The amounts are gross: less reaches the card, after payroll deductions.

For that money, the company hires one person.

A good SMM manager can carry a lot, but rarely does strategy, copy in two languages, design, filming, editing and ads equally well. And they take vacation and sick days, when the page goes silent.
