What ULTRA does well on Instagram and what we would change

Thousands of views, no conversation. The reels announce and show, but ask nothing of the viewer, so no one answers.

We read the @ultra.moldova Instagram page as any visitor sees it, without an account, on October 8, 2026. It is an independent analysis: we did not speak to the brand and start only from what was public on the page that day. ULTRA, the electronics and home appliance showroom on Columna street, answers the buyer’s questions before they are asked. If you sell any product from a store, there is something here to copy on your own page today, and one thing to avoid.

The page at a glance

  • 26.8K followers on Instagram.
  • 12 reels of 13 posts between September 21 and October 7.
  • 2,488 views: the median of the last 12 reels.

The figures are those shown on the page and on each reel that day, not estimates. Below: two things that work, one we would change and one step you can take today.

The profile answers before you ask

The bio says what they sell, where they are and where to order: “Electronice și electrocasnice”, “str. Columna, 170” and a link to ultra.md. Under it, four highlights named after questions: Promoții, Recenzii, Credit and Cum ne găsești, that is deals, reviews, financing and how to find us. Exactly the questions you have before buying an appliance: what it costs now, what others say, whether you can pay in installments and where to go and see it.

The captions we opened end the same way: the product link, the showroom address and the phone number. For any store the lesson is simple: the profile is the store’s front page, not an album. Put the answers there, not only the pictures.

The product at work, not on a shelf

A recipe made with a product from the store shows why you would want it, not just that it exists.

The reel with a focaccia kneaded in a kitchen machine, posted on September 21 together with a food creator, has 135 likes and two comments: the most likes and the only comments among the five posts we opened. The other four show the product; this one shows what you do with it at home. The format works for any product that does something, filmed by someone who really uses it.

What we would change

Thousands of views, no conversation. The store’s birthday reel of October 2: 11,700 views shown, 20 likes, not a single comment shown. The Logitech unboxing of October 1: 9,995 views shown, 25 likes, no comment. The reels announce and show, but ask nothing of the viewer, so no one answers.

This is not a complaint about the content: people watch. The problem is that nothing is left after the view: no comment, no reason to come back. And a rhetorical question does not help: the “Top 5 funcții” reel about the microwave oven, posted the day before our analysis, opens with “Dar tu știi să folosești cu adevărat cuptorul tău cu microunde?” (do you really know how to use your microwave?) and has 12 likes, no comment shown. Nobody writes an answer to a yes-or-no question.

One step today

One useful reel a week, with a question at the end. A recipe, a setting or a cleaning tip with a product from the store, filmed with someone from the team, and the last line is a question you can answer in one word: “What temperature do you wash towels at?”. Then reply to every comment and pin the reel at the top of the profile.

The image below is our sketch, not their page. Any store can film this in its showroom, on a phone, the same day.
